- This is an addon for Acelle and requires you to have setup Acelle
- Cloud storage account (AWS S3 or S3-compatible service)
- PHP 8.0 or higher
- Sufficient server storage for temporary backup files
- Cron job support for scheduled backups: ensure you have setup AcelleMail cron job
- Write permissions for backup directories
D) Installation/Updating - top
- Extract the main file you downloaded from CodeCanyon
- Login to the backend of your Acelle powered website and navigate to Plugin menu.
- Hit the "+ Install plugin" and select the plugin archive (cloud-backup.zip) from the folder where you extracted the downloaded file from CodeCanyon, then click upload.
- Enable the extension then click on its "Settings" action button to go to the extension page where you can configure it for your system.
- Configure your cloud storage credentials and backup preferences
- Ensure Acelle's main cron job is running for automated processing
Updating
To update, kindly download the latest version from CodeCanyon and follow the above outlined steps. You don't have to remove the extension before updating.
After uploading the latest 'cloud-backup.zip' you will be presented with a button to complete the update from your dashboard.

- After the extension is enabled, visit the extension page by clicking on the "Settings" button from the extension action buttons or sidebar menu.

- Choose backup type (Database, Directory, or ZIP) by click on the drop down icon near the backup button
- Monitor progress while backup run in the background
- Viewing Backup History:

- View backup details, file sizes, and timestamps
- Check backup integrity and status

Restoring from Backup:
- Go to the Restore section from cloud backup menu
- Select the backup you want to restore from
- Confirm and monitor the restoration process as the restoration will be done in background i.e when the acelle cron job/schedular run.
- Automated Backups:
- Backups run automatically based on your schedule in the plugin settings
- Real-time backups trigger when files are uploaded when real time backup is enabled.
- Check the dashboard for backup status and statistics.
